Yomoyama Tea
A tea infused with the richness of Japan’s satoyama landscapes.
For generations, people across different regions have enjoyed a wide variety of plants as tea. To help carry on that tradition, we introduce Yomoyama Tea as a new everyday choice. Made with carefully nurtured plants from satoyama landscapes, this blend is both nostalgic and refreshingly simple—mild and easy to drink.
◼︎The Story Behind Yomoyama Tea
Rather than setting out to create a specific tea, Yomoyama Tea came together through a series of chance encounters.
As we traveled across Japan, following our curiosity, we met people who introduced us to unique plants—each with its own story, deeply tied to its place of origin.
Unlike mass-produced teas, these ingredients are grown with care, making them rare and special.
What we can do is share their beauty, their flavors, and the richness they bring to everyday life.
When you drink this tea, you’re also supporting the people and places that make it possible.
This blend is designed to feel like a natural part of life—ii anbai for both yourself and nature.
◼︎Thoughtfully Designed Packaging
Weaving tradition into new expressions of design
We chose a "wrapping" style for our packaging, inspired by the Japanese tradition of wrapping items with care.
What began as a practical household practice evolved into something deeper—a way of valuing simplicity, reducing waste, and carrying meaning through layers of fabric or paper.
Our wrapping paper is made from recycled origami cranes once dedicated to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. If you look closely, you’ll see tiny, colorful fragments of origami within the paper—a quiet yet powerful symbol of peace.
With small, playful design details throughout, we hope opening each package brings a little spark of excitement.
Every piece is carefully wrapped by hand, with heartfelt care.
Perfect as a gift—or simply for yourself.

What about Moromoro?
What is Moromoro, the Laboratory for Everyday Living?
A creative duo driven by curiosity, Moromoro explores the intricate layers of everyday life, questioning the way we live and interact with the world around us.
At the heart of our journey is a simple yet profound question: What does it mean to live in harmony—with ourselves and with nature?
We seek answers not in distant places but in the rhythms of our daily lives, primarily in Tokyo.
When something sparks our interest, we don’t just read about it—we go, we see, we experience.
Research and hands-on exploration are at the core of what we do.
There is no single right way to live, but we hope to offer insights and inspiration through our events and products.
What do we do?
●Event Planning & Hosting
Seasonal Handcraft Workshops (Umeboshi making, Miso making)
Tokyo Wild Herb Club, etc.
●Original Product Development.
◼︎Our Philosophy
Daily life is filled with things so ordinary that we barely notice them. When we’re busy, we rush past them.
But in those small, overlooked details, we often find what truly matters.
Life doesn’t have a single, fixed shape. It’s made up of countless little pieces, constantly shifting and evolving.
But when we start paying closer attention to those pieces, we sometimes catch a glimpse of something bigger—something that brings everything into focus.
One of our starting points was something as simple as rethinking the way we do laundry. A routine task we had taken for granted suddenly became a source of endless questions.
"What does it really mean to wash something? What exactly is dirt?" That curiosity led us all the way to a wastewater treatment plant.
We’re not trying to do anything extraordinary—just bringing a little more awareness to the things already around us. When we take a fresh look at what we once overlooked, everyday life gains a new sense of clarity and depth.
◼︎Finding Balance—Not Too Much, Not Too Little
It’s easy to get lost in deep dives.
The more we learn, the more perspectives we gain—but sometimes, too much information can cloud the bigger picture.
That’s why we seek a balance—what we call ii anbai (いい塩梅).
Ii anbai is a Japanese phrase that means "just the right balance.
" Not too much, not too little. What feels "right" is different for everyone, but for us, it means a balance that respects both ourselves and nature.
We may never find the perfect answer, and that’s okay.
The process of searching—of circling around the unknown—has value in itself.
Often, the essence of things lies just beyond what seems troublesome or inconvenient.
So let’s take a step back from productivity or efficiency. Instead of looking for answers that work for "someone else," let’s explore what feels right for your way of living.
◼︎We Still Have So Much to Learn from Japan
There’s an old saying: Mi to tsuchi, futatsu ni arazu (身と土、二つにあらず).
It means that our bodies and the land we live on are inseparable—they are one and the same.
We deeply resonate with this, yet at times, it can feel like our connection to the land is slipping away.
By bringing our attention to the land we live on, we can learn to appreciate its unique qualities.
From there, we aim to embrace the best of what the world has to offer.
Japan is filled with deep traditions, local cultures, and the wisdom of those who came before us.
There’s still so much we don’t know.
By gathering and sharing these insights, we hope to spark moments of realization—those small, quiet thoughts of, "Oh, Japan is actually quite wonderful."
